Movie review of Mrs. Doubtfire

I watched Mrs. Doubtfire today. It was shown in 1993 in the United States, and it was also shown in 1994 in Japan. It was directed by Chris Columbus.
There is a family in this movie. The father is Daniel. He worked as actor and dubber, but he quitted it and Robin Williams acted him. The mother is Miranda. She is working as interior director and Sally Field acted her. They have three children. The oldest kid is a girl and her name is Lydia, second kid is a boy and his name is Chris, and the youngest kid is a girl and her name is Natalie.
One day, Daniel took place a party and he was planning to finish it before the mother comes home but she came home very early and she got very mad, and they argued very violently because the father always quits his job and he always does as he wants to do. After their argument, they decided to divorce thought Daniel did not want to divorce. When Daniel and Miranda went to a court of justice, it was decided that he can meet his children on only Saturdays. He couldn’t be satisfied about it, but he had no job, and he had no place to live, so he could not change the decision. One Saturday, when he is having a dinner with his children, Miranda happened to come to his room. She told that she has a plan to hire a housekeeper. He really wanted to be with his kids, so he changed his voice and called her to make an appointment to take a interview. The day of interview, he went to friend’s house. The friends are very good at making up, so he asked them to make him a woman. He wore a special facial mask and he wore a special body suit and he became an old lady. The old lady is Mrs. Doubtfire. When she goes to take the interview, Miranda liked her, and she decided to hire her. He got another job. It is the job of TV Company. When he is working at night, he found some toys of dinosaurs, and he played with it as he like. He could not notice that the president of the company is looking at him, and the man talked to him. He said that he has very good skill, so he asked him to go to dinner and talk together about new TV program. The other day, when he is working as Mrs. Doubtfire, he is asked to go to a dinner with Miranda and her kids, but the day is the day of appointment with the president of his company, so he tried to refuse the offer but he could not. That is to say, he made double booking. The day, he tried very hard to make it, but finally, he made a big mistake and all the people knew who Mrs. Doubtfire is. Miranda got very mad, and when they went to a court of justice, the decision was decided. It is that he can meet his kids only on Saturday and there must be a keeper. It was very strict decision, so he got really sad. The other day, when his kids are watching TV, Mrs. Doubtfire is on a new TV program, so they feel very happy but they also feel sad. Miranda decides to hire him as Mrs. Doubtfire, and the family became very good family again.
I thought this movie was really good. This is comedy movie, so I could really enjoy watching this movie. First, I tried to watch this movie in English with English subtitle, but it was a little too difficult for me because there were a lot of words that I didn’t know, so I watched this movie in Japanese with English subtitle. I could really enjoy seeing this movie. I liked this movie very much.
